Mr. Ringo Starr - Beaucoups of Blues

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QI-ep4XBf8w

Mr. Ringo Starr--Congrats! God bless!

Mr. Ringo Starr - Beaucoups of Blues

I left louisian, i had me big plans
To go out and take me all over this land.
To see me the world, i left my sweet girl
And gave it a whirl but now here i stand,
Along side the road with holes in my soul and my shoes
And beaucoups of blues.

Oh, sweet magnolia,
Breath carried over the marsh by a breeze from the gulf.
I'm coming home, (coming home)
I've had me enough.

Oh, where are the things i saw in my dreams?
Where's the happy that freedom should bring?
I see me today and know yesterday
That i threw away my most precious things.
I see me a man who's lonely, wants only to lose
Beaucoups of blues.

Oh, sweet magnolia,
Breath carried over the marsh by a breeze from the gulf.
I'm coming home, (coming home)
I've had me enough.
I'm coming home, (coming home)
I've had me enough.

Xavier Dolan, Marion Cotillard, Léa Seydoux, Vincent Cassel, Nathalie Baye and Gaspard Ulliel by Michael Rosser

Xavier Dolan is to begin filming It’s Only The End Of the World (Juste La Fin Du Monde) next month with a starry cast that includes Marion Cotillard, Léa Seydoux, Vincent Cassel, Nathalie Baye, and Gaspard Ulliel.

It was anticipated that Dolan’s next feature would be The Death And Life Of John F. Donovan, starring Jessica Chastain, but Seville International has announced that the Canadian writer-director will begin shooting It’s Only The End Of The World at the end of May, after his jury duties at the Cannes Film Festival (May 13-24).

With sales of the film set to kick off in Cannes, Seville International will handle international sales of the film in all media around the world, excluding France where the film is being handled by MK2 and distributed by Diaphana/MK2.

Speaking about his star-studdeed cast, Dolan said: “It is my utmost priority and most visceral passion to work with inspiring talent on set and not only direct them, but, as an actor-director, act with and through them, even from the other side of the mirror.

“To reunite them has been a jigsaw puzzle of the highest Byzantine complexity but I’d honestly kill to be in a room with those five extraordinary, creative individuals.”

The film is based on a play by Jean-Luc Lagarce of the same name. After 12 years of absence, a writer goes back to his hometown, planning on announcing his upcoming death to his family. As resentment soon rewrites the course of the afternoon, fits and feuds unfold, fuelled by loneliness and doubt, while all attempts of empathy are sabotaged by people’s incapacity to listen, and love.

Speaking about scheduling his next three projects, which also includes Dononvan, Dolan said: ““Anne Dorval had brought the beautiful play from Jean-Luc Lagarce to my attention many years ago, but the time didn’t seem right back then and it ended in the “long-term drawer”.

“The shooting for John F. Donovan has gotten me really excited but it’s not going before next fall, and I want to be on the ground again before we power the Donovan machine.

“I thought It’s Only The End Of The World could very well bridge the genre chasm between Mommy and John F.

“It’s the second time I’m adapting a play and I have to admit that so far, for me, novels and plays have been the regal road to screenwriting. I love adaptations and they challenge me in a different way. It’s humbling to translate someone’s world, someone’s intimate creation to the screen. It’s a big responsibility. And it’s a risk. So that’s all very, very inspiring.”

Producers are Sons of Manual’s Nancy Grant and Xavier Dolan and MK2’s Nathanaël Karmitz along with Sylvain Corbeil.

Through support from Telefilm Canada, It’s Only The End Of The World is a Canada-France coproduction. eOne and Les Films Séville have confirmed that they will directly distribute the film throughout Canada and Québec.

Unmanned Russian Spacecraft

An unmanned Russian cargo spacecraft ferrying supplies to the International Space Station is plunging back to Earth and apparently out of control, an official said on Wednesday.

"It has started descending. It has nowhere else to go," an official familiar with the situation told AFP on condition of anonymity, speaking ahead of an official Russian space agency statement expected later in the day.

"It is clear that absolutely uncontrollable reactions have begun."

The official said the descent likely marked the end of the Progress spacecraft's mission although the Russian authorities will contact it again to make sure everything has been done to rescue it.

"We have scheduled two more communication sessions to soothe our conscience," said the official, adding it was hard to predict when exactly the vessel would fall back to Earth.

A Soyuz rocket carrying the Progress M-27M spacecraft with supplies for the ISS successfully launched on Tuesday but communication with the vessel was lost soon afterwards.

A spokesman for the Russian space agency, Mikhail Fadeyev, declined immediate comment.

The loss of the Progress supply ship would be the latest embarrassment for Russia's space program that has been recently hit by a series of mishaps.

Russian officials said earlier Wednesday that attempts to contact the spacecraft had been unsuccessful, raising fears it could be lost for good.

"There have been no improvements," a mission control spokesman told AFP.

The controllers had on Tuesday opted to change the flight plan and extend the vessel's journey to two days instead of six hours in a bid to fix the glitch.

The mission control spokesman said a decision on the spacecraft's fate would likely be announced later in the day.

"It's the first time that we have such a combination of emergency situations."

The ship had been scheduled to dock with the ISS, where the international crew of six people is awaiting the cargo, on April 30.

The Russian space program is renowned for having sent the first man into space in 1961 and launching the first sputnik satellite four years earlier, and remains a major source of national pride.

But more recently it has endured a series of setbacks, notably losing expensive satellites and a similar Progress supply ship in 2011.

Shortly after launch, the vessel crashed into Siberia, marking one of Russia's biggest space setbacks.

Deputy prime minister in charge of the aerospace industry, Dmitry Rogozin, who is currently in China, said he was in constant touch with the space agency.

"We're all worrying about our cargo spacecraft," he said on Twitter.

NASA said none of the equipment on board was critical for the US section of the ISS, and that the astronauts have plenty of provisions, enough to last for months.

The Progress was carrying "1,940 pounds (880 kilos) of propellant, 110 pounds of oxygen, 926 pounds of water, and 3,128 pounds of spare parts, supplies and scientific experiment hardware," NASA said.

The next delivery to the ISS is planned by SpaceX's Dragon cargo ship on June 19.

Hopefully, in case it happen, nobody will be hit by that spacecraft. God bless.

Scaramanzia a parte, a Villorba ho provato sensazioni uniche e nuove, probabilmente mai avvertite nemmeno in carriera.

‘Avengers: Age of Ultron’ Opens to Massive $201.2 Million at Foreign Box Office Elizabeth Olsen and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in ‘Age of Ultron’
Avengers: Age of Ultron debuted to a massive $201.2 million across 44 territories this weekend.
Disney and Marvel’s super team adventure was the highest-grossing film in everywhere it opened, and has now rolled out in 55% of the international marketplace, including such major locales as France, Italy, Germany, the United Kingdom, Russia, Korea and Australia.
Going into the weekend, Disney was projecting a foreign debut of between $160 million to $175 million.
“The bar was high, but this is a sign of unbelievable momentum in the marketplace,” said Dave Hollis, Disney’s distribution chief. “It all goes back to the strength of the brand and the incredible work the Marvel team does in telling stories in such a consistent way and creating these worlds.”
The hotly anticipated superhero sequel opens next week in the U.S., where it is expected to earn north of $200 million and could top the first Avengers film’s record-breaking $207.4 million bow. Bringing Thor, Iron Man, Captain America and other costumed heroes together isn’t cheap, and Avengers: Age of Ultron carries a $250 million pricetag.
The success of Avengers: Age of Ultron is a testament to the strength of the global market, which now accounts for 70% or more of a major film’s box office gross. Two decades ago, foreign ticket sales usually comprised less than half of a movie’s revenues.
“We are living in rarefied air with Avengers to be even talking about these kind of numbers,” said Paul Dergarabedian, senior media analyst at Rentrak. “A weekend like this is why a lot of people think it could be even bigger than the first one.”
What’s particularly impressive is that Avengers: Age of Ultron put up such big numbers despite currency fluctuations. The strength of the dollar and economic troubles in Europe and Russia have dramatically altered the exchange rate picture in the three years since the first Avengers. The euro has fallen roughly 20% in the ensuing time, while the ruble has plunged 46%. Yet the second film is still exceeding the first installment by 44% in today’s dollars.
Enthusiasm for the film gave Imax the largest international opening in its history, not counting China, with $10.4 million of Avengers: Age of Ultron’s gross coming from the widescreen locations. In a sign of the Imax’s popularity when it comes to comic book titles, its newly opened Denmark theater, its first venue in Scandinavia, did a staggering $172,000 on one screen.
“This picture is right in our wheelhouse,” said Greg Foster, Imax Entertainment CEO. “It’s a fanboy title, and those are the pillar titles that drive what we do.”
He likened Imax’s relationship to films in the Marvel universe to the one it enjoyed with the Harry Potter series.
“It’s building a similar relationship with audiences,” said Foster. “That became a tradition: ‘Let’s go see Harry Potter in Imax.’ ”

The Beatles --Ain't She Sweet

Oh ain't she sweet
When you see her walking down the street
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she nice
When you look her over once or twice
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she nice?

Just cast an eye
In her direction
Oh me oh my
Ain't that perfection?

Oh I repeat
Well don't you think that's kind of neat
Yes I ask you very confidentially
Ain't she sweet?

Oh ain't she sweet
When you see her walking down the street
Well I ask you very confidentially

Saugella Team Monza-Club Italia 3-0 (25-19, 25-19, 25-19)
Saugella Team Monza: Bruno 2, Nomikou 2, Mazzaro ne, Balboni, Saveriano ne, Rossi Matuszkova 17, Coatti ne, Bonetti 9, Astarita 6, Devetag 13, Facchinetti ne, Bisconti (L). All. Delmati.
Club Italia: Piani 1, Zannoni (L), Spirito (L) ne, D'Odorico 2, Egonu 12, Orro, Mabilo ne, Tenti ne, Danesi 10, Guerra 10, Malinov 1, Berti 2, Camperi. All. Mencarelli.

Blood Sweat and Tears - Sometimes In Winter (Not suitable for kids)

Sometimes in Winter
I gaze into the streets
And walk through snow
And city sleet, behind your room

Sometimes in Winter
Forgotten memories
Remember you behind the trees
With leaves that cried

By the window once I waited for you
Laughing slightly you would run
Trees alone would shield us in the meadow
_______ in the evening sun

Now you're gone girl
And the lamp posts call your name
I can hear, them
In the spring of frozen rain

Now you're gone girl
And the time's slowed down till dawn
It's a cold room and the walls
Ask where you've gone?

Sometimes In Winter
I love you when the good times
Seem like memories in the spring
That never came

Sometimes In Winter
I wish the empty streets
Would fill with laughter from your tears
To ease my pain

1° Round Robin Finale 1°-4° posto: 3° giornata (24 aprile)
Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul - Galatasaray Daikin Istanbul 3-0 (25-22, 25-18, 25-19)
Eczacibasi VitrA Istanbul: Ozdemir 3, Gumus 5, Furst 6, Demir 14, Larson 10, Poljak 12, Kuzubasioglu (L); Ercan 0, Bagci (L). Non entrati: Arisan, Karakoyun, Cansu, G. Yilmaz. All: Caprara.
Galatasaray Daikin Istanbul: Alikaya 0, C. Bosetti 9, Kalac 6, Centoni 9, Meijners 18, Gurkaynak 4, Guneyligil (L); Dumanoglu 0, Aydinlar 0, Arslan Guc 0. Non entrate: Germen, Yurtdagulen. All: Barbolini.

Dame Kristin Scott Thomas (Not suitable for kids)

source:dailymail.co.uk

Dame Kristin Scott Thomas plus Others by Adam Luck For The Mail On Sunday posted Mar. 22, 2015

It has been a bittersweet week for Kristin Scott Thomas. On Thursday the acclaimed actress was at Buckingham Palace to receive her Damehood from the Queen, a reward for a lifetime of achievement – and almost a dress rehearsal for her new West End role playing the Monarch in The Audience.

But her delight at the presentation must have involved a moment of quiet reflection, too. For last week was also the anniversary of the death of her father, taken from her in a dramatic fighter plane accident almost half a century ago on March 17, 1966. She was just five.

Dame Kristin, 54 – nominated for an Oscar for her mesmerising role in The English Patient – has said little about the loss in public, but recalled that ‘Mummy was pregnant at the time and I can remember when she told us. In one breath it was, “Daddy has had an accident and won’t be coming home and I’m going to have a baby.” So it sort of took the sting out of it’.

The exact details of his crash, however, have remained shrouded in secrecy – like so much else associated with the Cold War – until now, thanks to the release of a recently declassified air investigation report.

It reveals that Lieutenant Commander Simon Thomas was flying a Sea Vixen jet when it exploded after crashing into the sea off the Dorset coast. He was taking part in a training exercise for a type of mission that has since been described as ‘perhaps the most stupid, and potentially suicidal attacks ever invented’.

The Sea Vixen was in the vanguard of a new generation of high-speed jets that relied on swept wings and two Rolls-Royce engines to achieve near-supersonic speed. They were designed for aircraft carriers for night-time flying and one of their tasks would be to attack Soviet ships in the event of a war.

Astonishingly, of the 145 Sea Vixens built, 54 were lost in accidents and 55 crew members killed during the 13 years of frontline service with the Fleet Air Arm from 1959 to 1972. This was a worse rate of attrition than the notorious F-104 Starfighter, which became known as the ‘Widowmaker’ in Cold War West Germany because 30 per cent were lost to accidents.

Lieut Cmdr Thomas, the report reveals, was the designated leader when he and three other Sea Vixen pilots lined up on the runway on the night of March 17. They were tasked with taking off from air base HMS Heron, in Yeovilton, Somerset, and attacking a target being pulled by a frigate, HMS Zulu, off Portland in Dorset.

With classic military understatement the report states that they faced ‘unpleasant conditions’, which included poor visibility, fog patches and a pitch black night. Furthermore, it was believed to have been Thomas’s first attempt at firing Glow Worm flares since he had returned to frontline duties after working as a Vixen flying instructor.

The notorious flares were designed to illuminate the target prior to attack but had already been involved in a succession of accidents. As the leader, Thomas was expected to fire off the flares above the frigate so that they would illuminate the target in silhouette. The following three Sea Vixens were then tasked with attacking the dummy ship in quick succession before the leader himself would launch the final attack. All four were supposed to roll into a dive before firing off their rockets at the target at a pre-ordained angle and altitude.

However, the training mission was dogged with bad luck from the outset, with one of the Sea Vixens failing to make it off the runway. The three others took off and assumed the attack formation, with Thomas in the lead, to a point 20 miles south of HMS Zulu.

But then Vixen No 2 lost his radar and, after trying to maintain his position, was instructed by Thomas to return to base. This meant that No 3 assumed the No 2 position and the two remaining Vixens turned to prepare for the attack. On their first run, Thomas failed to fire the flares. Both planes turned round for a second run, but the new No 2 struggled to maintain position.

By the time they were in position for a second strike, the crew of No 2 suddenly realised that HMS Zulu had changed its orientation and was now directly behind the target as they approached it. Worried their missiles could hit the frigate instead of the target it was towing, they aborted the attack for safety reasons.

The report adds that the crew of No 2 heard Thomas call ‘turning in’ in preparation for his attack and ‘some five to ten seconds [later] the pilot noticed a flash’. Zulu’s crew also saw an explosion, which turned out to be Lieut Cmdr Thomas’s aircraft hitting the water and exploding. Thomas was killed instantly and his co-pilot, Lieutenant John Harvey, was listed as missing.

Dame Kristin, born in Cornwall in 1960, later said that after the news of her father’s death ‘we went down to school and everybody had to be nice to us and we didn’t really understand why. Kids are so resilient. It’s only later that you realise what a terrible shock it was. I can still remember him. It’s like having a little film playing in your head. I can still remember his smell, it’s really weird. The thing that breaks my heart is the smell of engine oil’.

Indeed, she has been doubly unfortunate. Kristin’s widowed mother went on to marry another Fleet Air Arm pilot, Simon Idiens, who died in another air accident in 1972.

Author Tony Buttler, in his book about the Sea Vixen, branded the Glow Worm manoeuvre, for which Lieut Cmdr Thomas was practising, ‘perhaps the most stupid, and potentially suicidal attack ever invented. Once the leader had fired the flares he had to bank left hard, climb to 4,000ft, come up behind the fourth Sea Vixen, a complex manoeuvre complicated further by the fact he had to switch on his weapons panel, which meant switching hands on the control stick, while turning his head to locate the weapons switch’.

All of this was happening while the jet was maintaining a steep bank climb and the pilot was subjected to considerable G-forces. It was a recipe for disorientation and disaster.

The conclusion to the MoD report offers little solace, indirectly blaming HMS Zulu and the exercise.

Sir Mark Thomson, a former Sea Vixen pilot, said: ‘When you are flying at night there is no horizon. You have disorientation in relation to the ground or surface, where the ship is. You have the disorientation in relation to where the other planes are as you look in and out of the cockpit.

‘You are also looking for the weapons switch on your right side and if you are flying with your right hand you either switch hands or reach over with your left hand.

‘I can see Simon now. He was absolutely magical, the most wonderful and enchanting guy. There was no better-looking couple and while I can see Deborah in Kristin, Kristin also looks just like her father.

‘She has that classic English look with those high cheekbones. Simon and Deborah had star quality. Life can be so cruel, especially to Deborah. She even had a boyfriend between the two Simons and he was also killed in a flying accident.’

Better late than never. Congrats Dame Kristin Scott Thomas. God bless you.

Actor Sawyer Sweeten We Salute You

by Natalie Finn

Our hearts go out to the family of Sawyer Sweeten.

Sweeten, the actor who played little Geoffrey Barone on Everybody Loves Raymond, has died in an apparent suicide. He was 19.

A rep for Sweeten confirmed his passing to E! News. He is said to have shot himself while visiting family in Texas.

His twin brother, Sullivan, also played his twin, Michael Barone, on the show and their TV sister Ally was played by real-life sibling Madylin Sweeten. Ray Romano and Patricia Heaton played their parents on the Emmy-winning sitcom.

"This morning a terrible family tragedy has occurred," Madylin, 23, said in a statement. "We are devastated to report that our beloved brother, son, and friend, Sawyer Sweeten, took his own life. He was weeks away from his 20th birthday. At this sensitive time, our family requests privacy and we beg of you to reach out to the ones you love."

She had posted on Facebook earlier today, "At this time I would like to encourage everyone to reach out to the ones you love. Let them have no doubt of what they mean to you."

Also in a statement sent to E! News, Romano said that he was "shocked and terribly saddened" by the news.

"He was a wonderful and sweet kid to be around," he said. "Just a great energy whenever he was there. My heart breaks for him, his family and his friends during this very difficult time."

Radar Online was first to report on Sweeten's death.

CASALMAGGIORE - CONEGLIANO

As we have said on JENNY's board, it's not over. You have to win 3 games.
Definitely, Team Pomi will try their best.
So Please Girls(JENNY's team), Concentrate.
Fight! Fight! Fight!
God help them please.

Ah, I'm a mean, mean woman
And I don't mean no one man, no good, no
I'm a mean, mean woman
I don't mean no one man, no good
I just treats 'em like I wants to
I never treats 'em, honey like I should
Oh, Lord, I once had a daddy
He said he'd give me everything in sight
Once had a daddy
Said he'd give me everything in sight
Yes, he did
So I said, Honey, I want the sunshine
you take the stars out of the night
Come on and give 'em to me, babe, 'cause I want 'em right now

Thank you Lord! Thank you Jesus!
As we have said on JENNY's board, The more you have to concentrate on the next game(Friday, Apr. 24).

ASHBY (TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL)

Writer-director Tony McNamara puts an unexpected comic twist on the boy meets strange older neighbor story. Ed Wallis (Nat Wolff) cannot help proving that he is too smart for his new Virginia high school, where he is picked on by everyone save for that quirky girl Eloise (Emma Roberts). With his father unreachable and his mother June (Sarah Silverman) looking for her own connections, Ed turns to his neighbor Ashby Holt (Mickey Rourke) for help. Ashby’s unforgiving brand of tough love soon tests their friendship, and it hardly helps when Ed discovers that Ashby was once a CIA assassin.

Peppered with upbeat music and standout performances, especially by Wolff, Ashby is a spirited, self-referential update on Harold and Maude for a Taken generation. McNamara tackles what Ed calls “a fifties view of the world,” sending up the familiar tropes of bullies, disaffected teachers, pep talks, and more than one search for a father figure. He creates a pithy examination of manliness and identity, how we attempt to redefine ourselves for a fresh start or, at least, an honorable finish.

ANESTHESIA (TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL)

In actor-director Tim Blake Nelson's new thought-provoking drama, a well-loved Columbia University professor of philosophy, Walter Zarrow (Sam Waterston), is violently mugged on the doorsteps of an apartment building. Nelson delves into the chain of events that precipitates the attack, and the lives of the characters the incident brings together: his son (Tim Blake Nelson), daugher-in-law (Jessica Hecht), a troubled student (Kristen Stewart); a philandering husband (Corey Stoll), and a man fighting drug addiction (K. Todd Freeman). Glenn Close, Gretchen Mol, and Michael Kenneth Williams round out a stellar cast in this meditation of city life that examines the inextricable and unforeseen forces that bring a group of disparate individuals together in a world where many people are, as Professor Zarrow lectures, "beautifully, achingly alone."

ALOFT (TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL)

Artful and enigmatic, this first English feature from Academy Award®–nominee Claudia Llosa (The Milk of Sorrow) brings a dream to the screen. In this quietly powerful story that spans decades, a separated family searches for meaning and hope in their own disparate ways.

The tales of a mother and son are told in parallel and woven together in a way that demonstrates the subjectivity and fragility of time. Single-mother Nana (Jennifer Connelly) has a mysterious experience at the hands of a traveling healer. Years later, her troubled son Ivan (Cillian Murphy) sets out to search for his now absent mother. The film blends past with present against the backdrop of a frozen world. And with staggering performances of the ensemble cast, including Mélanie Laurent (Inglourious Basterds), Aloft creates a landscape both visually and emotionally stunning.

AFERIM! (TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL)

1835—a police officer and his son travel across the Romanian countryside in pursuit of a runaway gypsy slave. In their journey they encounter people of different religions and nationalities, each with their own prejudices and opinions on the state of the country. Beautifully shot in black-and-white, this road movie incorporates humor and the absurd to deliver a stunning tale. Alternating between action scenes and surreal dialogue, Radu Jude, one of the youngest new faces of Romanian cinema, delivers a Romanian Western that is more than a gripping look at the political and religious landscape of 19th century Eastern Europe. It approaches issues of slavery and racism in a way that resonates dangerously close to home. In the words of Radu Jude, “When we speak of the past, in fact we speak of our perspective of the past.”

The Adderall Diaries (TRIBECA FILM FESTIVAL)

Based on the bestselling memoir by Stephen Elliott, The Adderall Diaries is the story of an author (James Franco) paralyzed by writer's block and an escalating drug dependency who is sucked down the rabbit hole of a high-profile murder case. As Elliott becomes increasingly obsessed with the trial his own nightmarish childhood memories resurface, particularly of his cruel and distant father (Ed Harris). But when his estranged father returns with his own story to tell, fact and fiction become blurred in an amphetamine-induced haze.

Featuring supporting performances by Amber Heard, Cynthia Nixon, and Christian Slater, Pamela Romanowsky's first feature is an unflinchingly honest drama about fathers and sons, what it means to tell the truth, and the way we choose to write our own story.

SOVERATO - OLBIA 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-20)

SOVERATO: Bacciottini, Paris (L), Travaglini 11, Roani 6, Minati 12, Gili 3, Frigo 15, Smutna 5. Non entrate Pesut, Aluigi, Bertone, Burduja. All. Chiappafreddo.
OLBIA: Facendola, Kiosi 16, Panucci 2, Garbet 2, Sintoni 2, Baldelli 1, Pesce (L), Rebora 4, Segura 6, Mordecchi. Non entrate Vietri, Degortes. All. Secchi.
ARBITRI: Talento, De Simeis.
NOTE - durata set: 23', 21', 24'; tot: 68'.

PROGRAMMA

Gara 1 - Domenica 19 aprile ore 18.00
Soverato - Olbia 3-0 (25-19, 25-17, 25-20)
